Joining is simple, but if you have questions, we're here to help.

The cost for your first year of scouting is $245. You will pay approximately $170 to the National BSA organization when you submit your one-time application and $75 to Pack 72 directly. After your first year, dues are $175 and Pack 72 will collect the entire amount. We also offer a $25 discount for additional siblings, and scholarship assistance is available upon request.

Apply with BSA Online

BSA will charge an application fee which will cover your national dues, and will be approximately $170 for a new scout, including an optional subscription to Boys Life Magazine.

STEP 2

Pay Pack Dues

Once your application is approved and processed, someone from the Pack will reach out and you can pay pack dues through our Square Store.

First year dues to the Pack are $75 for your first scout, and $50 for any additional sibling(s).

Choose the "New Scout Dues" Option.

Visit the Scout Store

Head to the Scout Store in Charlotte to get your Scout Handbook and Class-A Uniform. Make sure to check their website and call ahead to verify they're open before you make the trip.
